And we can't survive on rationed air
or borrowed smiles, or faded care
We cannot go on with bombs for hearts
and when the world explodes we'll forge new starts.

I tried to love, to care, to feel
I tried to smile, I longed to heal.
But I guess I can't, I'm far too gone
with threadbare words, I'll confess I'm wrong.

For in the end tradgedy will prevail
Beauty and heartbreak can never fail.
And they will watch with disgusted awe
as our heroine decays on the floor.

"Beautiful, yet terrible" they shall claim
and, despite her death, she'll rise to fame.
Millions will mourn for one they never knew
untill she's replaced by soemone new.
